Building something
with AI, every day.

GIUN Labs is a small team running tiny experiments with AI. We publish the process before the polished product. If it sounds fun, we just start.

What we're working on

Instead of finished products, we log the experiments we have in our hands, in order. For most of them, we don't really know where they'll go.

An all-in-one workspace that pulls scattered collaboration into one room — Everyone's Office

A collaboration platform that gathers chat, video calls, a Kanban board, an LLM wiki, calendar, mail, GitHub, and Drive into a single "room." It doesn't stop at conversation like a normal messenger — a task raised in chat becomes a card right there, docs get organized into a wiki, schedules get set, and GitHub issues link in. No hopping between tools; context just stacks up in one place. A "private AI on your side" sorts your tasks and mentions and helps with replies and translation, but never sends or changes anything without permission (no auto-send). Models, storage, and mail can be self-hosted, so sensitive work data never leaves.

One side declares, the other answers — a debate as a participatory sport

Not a debate-with-AI app. A take-a-side service where humans fight in two camps, and the AI works as your second and as the safety judge. A one-line war declaration like "tangsuyuk is dipping, not pouring" → the opposing camp answers → when both sides reach the threshold, a 10-turn battle begins. Five battlefields: food · romance · work · friends · daily life — a new fight opens every day. The AI is not the enemy, it's on your side. A sample site is up to validate the core flow first.

An AI chatbot that speaks with a different tone per character

What if 12 characters answered the same person with their own voice? We're splitting the persona prompt per character and tuning tone consistency with Gemini. Answers themselves are fine — the worry is that the "temperature gap" between characters feels too uniform.

Turning one line from a kid's diary into a picture-book page

An experiment where AI summarizes a child's short diary, analyzes emotion, and draws a single illustrated page in a storybook style. One page a day, and over time it becomes their own picture book. Word-tap dictionaries quietly accumulate vocabulary, and we layered on bilingual fairy-tale conversion plus a pet-mate growth system — surprisingly, it all clicks together. A safety layer quietly notifies the parents via KakaoTalk if signs of self-harm or bullying surface.

What if we read a dream through three lenses — Eastern, Freud, and Jung?

An LLM workflow that interprets the same dream in three frames simultaneously. Traditional fortune reading → free-association dialog → archetype analysis, each as its own stage, finally compared side-by-side on one screen. We're checking whether the comparison itself is the content.

A walk with a direction — GPS + compass guidance

Started from the hypothesis that just walking gets boring. When the app gently says "head south now," the walk gains a purpose. Surprising finding: people genuinely enjoy following a direction more than we expected.

Is "a distinctly Korean AI service" possible?

The 12 zodiac, saju, the five elements — what kind of result do you get when you wrap a foreign LLM in Korean tradition? Conclusion so far: translation alone won't cut it. Both the dataset and the prompts need work. Currently building a few short demos to find out.

GIUN Labs starts today

One developer, one designer, one product person. We came together over a single sentence: "let's make something fun with AI." We didn't decide what to build — and we're starting without deciding.
